The Taylor Ho Bynum Quartet

Taylor Ho Bynum is an incredible Cornettist, and brass instrument multi instrumentalist known for his ten-year association with Anthony Braxton. In April, Taylor will make a rare trip to China / Hong Kong, and will perform in the company of noted American saxophonist, Joe Rosenberg, drummer Alex Ritz, and Hong Kong's Peter Scherr on bass. They will be working the two horns, bass and drums format, embracing freedom, energy and the spirit of jazz. Bynum's 2005 CD with SpiderMonkey Strings, Other Stories (Three Suites), has been described as “the best album of the year” (All About Jazz) and “subtle magic...so much beauty in one hour, it's exceptional” (De Morgen, Belgium). Not to be missed!
