Tang Yan was born in 1978 in Hebei Province China and graduated in 2001 from the Mural Painting Department, Academy of Fine Arts, Nanjing Arts Institute. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions including “Universal Shops” (Serpentine, London, UK, 2006) “Universal Shops” (Universal Studios-Beijing, Beijing, China, 2006), “Eyes On” (C5 Art Bund 18 Creative Center, Shanghai, China, 2006), “Nike Free New Media 2005” (Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center and Beijing Urban SOHO, Shanghai, China, 2005), “Pop Pop New World Art Action Planning” (New World, Shanghai, China, 2005), “Street Tease” （Bugis Street, Singapore, 2005). In 2006 he set up Mofun Studio with Xu Yisu.

Xu Yisu was born in 1976 in Wushi, Xinjiang province, China and graduated in 2002 from the Sculpture Department, Academy of Fine Arts, Nanjing Arts Institute. To date she has participated in two group exhibitions “Teachers’ Artworks Exhibition of Nanjing Arts Institute”, (Nanjing, China, 2004) and “Special Comic Exhibition” (Zan Hua Tang, Nanjing, China, 2003).
