Zhong Biao was born in 1968 in Chongqing, China. He graduated from the Oil Painting Department of China Academy of Fine Arts and is currently working in the Oil Painting Department of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute. He has had a number of solo exhibitions including “Chance Encounter” (Chinatoday Gallery, Brussels, Belgium, 2006), “Zhong Biao`s Works Exhibition” (Zeit Foto Salon Gallery, Tokyo, Japan, 2006), “Zhong Biao” (Benamou Gallery, Paris, France, 2004), “Ubiquity” (Art Scene Warehouse, Shanghai, China, 2004), “A Chance Existence” (Art Scene China Gallery, Hong Kong, China, 2001), “The Fable of Life” (Schoeni Art Gallery, Hong Kong, China, 1997) and “The Fable of Life” (The Art Museum of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, Chongqing, China, 1997). His recent group exhibitions include “The Self-Made Generation - A Retrospective of New Chinese Painting” (Shanghai Zendai Museum of Modern Art, Shanghai, China, 2006), “1st Annals Exhibition of Chinese Contemporary Art” (China Millennium Monument, Beijing, China, 2006), “Oriental Imagination” (National Art Museum of China, Beijing, China, 2006) and “Shanghai Biennale” (Shanghai Art Museum, Shanghai, China, 2006).
