Zhao Nengzhi was born in 1968 in Nanchong , Sichuan Province, China and graduated in 1990 from the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, Chongqing, China. He has had various solo exhibitions including “Transforming, Zhao Nengzhi’s Solo Exhibition” (Zhu Qizhan Art Museum, Shanghai, China, 2006), “Das Gesicht, Zhao Nengzhi Solo Exhibition” (LA.Gallerie, Frankfurt, Germany, 2006), “Solo Exhibition of Works of Zhao Nengzhi” (Chinese Contemporary Gallery, London, England, 2001), “Facial Expression, Exhibition of Works of Zhao Nengzhi” (ShanghART Gallery, Shanghai, China, 2000).
